Guest Room & Public Spaces Cleaning ProcessWe have implemented a supplemental cleaning process for guest rooms in which a two-part sanitizing process is being used on all high touch surfaces in guest rooms. The process will be performed by highly trained team member and entails the following:
– Two trained cleaners will work in each room, one will be assigned to the bathroom area and the second to the bedroom area.
– Cleaners will wear new latex gloves that will only be used once to clean one room and then will be immediately discarded.
- Each cleaner will be trained to perform a two- part cleaning regimen on all designated surfaces
- Stage 1 – Clean: Using a clean, colored cloth, spray the target surface area with disinfectant cleaner (from dispensing system), then vigorously wipe the surface, removing any debris and/or liquid from the area.
- Stage 2 – Disinfect: Using a different colored cloth, spray the cloth and the target surface with bathroom disinfectant cleaner (from dispensing system), then wipe the surface.
- Upon completion, cleaners will place soiled cloths in the dirty laundry.
Cleaning Tools for each Guest Room
- 4 cloths for each guest room that is cleaned. (2 for bathroom and 2 for bedroom).
- Disinfectant bathroom cleaner (from dispensing system) in a new, properly labeled spray bottle, complete with an operating trigger
- Gloves (latex or rubber) fitted
